Samsung Restarts Galaxy A34 One UI 7 Update After Pullback

Samsung has resumed the One UI 7 update rollout for the Galaxy A34, following an unexpected pause that left users wondering what went wrong. Initially launched in South Korea two weeks ago and then briefly expanding to Europe, the update was mysteriously pulled back — until now. An apparent hotfix is now rolling out in Korea and should soon expand to the rest of the world.
Galaxy A34’s One UI 7 update is back on track with a hotfix release
Korean Galaxy A34 users who installed the One UI 7 update earlier this month are getting a new build. It’s a relatively small 280MB package identified by the build number A346NKSU9DYF4. Samsung is seemingly rolling out this patch to address the bugs that sneaked in with the original release. The company will integrate the fixes into the main build and roll out to users who didn’t install One UI 7 the last time.
For those users, the OTA (over the air) file size will be much bigger, possibly weighing over 3GB. That’s because it will include the full set of Android 15 and One UI 7 changes. It brings a visual overhaul, camera upgrade, smoother animations, and tons of other goodies. As said earlier, Samsung pulled back the update for the Galaxy A34 before the rollout could expand globally. It should now release the corrected build widely over the next few days.
As far as the bugs in question are concerned, Samsung has not officially disclosed them. In fact, it’s not even clear if the original release contained bugs or if the company suspended the update for some other reason. However, the re-release suggests that it has addressed whatever issue prompted the halt. If you own a Galaxy A34, you can check for the update manually by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
