Samsung Pulls One UI 7 Update for Galaxy A06, Suddenly

Samsung’s One UI 8 is just around the corner. But the struggles with One UI 7 don’t seem to be over yet. At the July Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to officially lift the curtain on what should be the stable release, along with announcing new features that will arrive sooner for the upcoming foldables, and later, or not at all, for other devices.
Samsung mysteriously pulled One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A06
One UI 8 is landing right on time, and honestly, even the beta schedule feels like it makes up for the mess that was One UI 7. Still, the problems haven’t gone away. Despite all the earlier delays, Samsung has quietly pulled the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A06 (via Akhilesh Kumar on X).

That puts the A06 on a growing list of affected devices, alongside the Galaxy S24 and A36. There’s been no official explanation, but the update has disappeared from Samsung’s servers, which pretty much confirms another silent rollback.
This isn’t new territory for Samsung. Earlier this year, the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 was paused due to performance issues. The Galaxy A36 followed not long after. Now the A06 is seeing the same story play out.
Whether it’s a cautious move or signs of deeper problems, One UI 7 still isn’t in the clear. And with One UI 8 just around the corner, it’s starting to feel like Samsung might be quietly shifting its focus forward. Hopefully, Samsung will resume the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy A06 sooner.
Whatever happens, we’ll keep you in the loop and keep monitoring everything.
