Galaxy S25’s next big update may not arrive in May
Samsung rolled out a substantial update to the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in April. X user @Alfaturk16 recently revealed that the company is readying another big update, potentially rolling it out in May. However, the same source has now discovered that Samsung’s latest May build for the Galaxy S25 lineup (currently live on its firmware server) only contains the monthly security patch.
This likely means the company has delayed the big feature release until June, or maybe later. The said update reportedly weighs around 1.4GB and contains camera improvements, UI tweaks, and more. The source mentioned updates to the stock camera app (version 15.0.02.42) and One UI Home (version 16.0.05.59), among other things.
While see do not have specifics regarding the upgrades coming to the Galaxy S25 series with this upcoming update, Samsung does seem to have something big in the works.
