Samsung kicked off the first One UI 7.0 beta program in the early days of December. But it was only available for the Galaxy S24 series. We expected it to roll out to more devices. But sadly, no other phones received beta except for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Now, though, it looks like the Galaxy S24 series won’t be the only one getting the One UI 7.0 beta. It seems Samsung may be planning to bring One UI 7.0 beta to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 as well.
Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6 could be getting ready for One UI 7.0 beta
According to tipster Tarun Vats, fresh One UI 7.0 beta builds for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 have been spotted on server. These carry F741BXXU2ZYBC and F956BXXU2ZYBC, respectively. These builds are showing up for European and Indian units. Samsung has also set up dedicated pages for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in the One UI Beta Program subforum on its community site. While these pages are empty for now, once the beta goes live, it will start filling up.
This means Samsung could soon expand the One UI 7.0 beta in at least these two regions. While the beta build was spotted only for Indian and European units, it may gradually expand to more regions including the United States.
To be honest, many were expecting Samsung to roll out the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update to all eligible devices soon. These include the S-series, Z-series, A-series, and more. That would’ve likely meant that the One UI 7.0 beta program would wrap up pretty quickly. But if Samsung starts pushing beta rounds to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, we might see some delays before the stable release finally lands.
