Samsung’s One UI 7.0 Beta 5 for Galaxy S24 Series Could Arrive Soon

Last week, Samsung confirmed that it will roll out its stable One UI 7.0 update in April 2025. The Galaxy S24 series could be one of the first to get the big update. However, ahead of the stable rollout, one more beta build, Beta 5, is reportedly in the pipeline. While there have been rumors about Samsung potentially wrapping up the beta program after Beta 4, it appears at least one more beta update is on the way.

New One UI 7.0 beta build spotted for Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung did not mention the Galaxy S24 in its recent beta program expansion announcement post. However, that doesn’t mean Beta 5 won’t be released for the lineup. A new One UI 7.0 beta build has been spotted (via tipster @KeepUPwithOneUI) for Galaxy S24 Ultra with the build number S928BXXU4ZYC4. This suggests that the Galaxy S24 lineup could get Beta 5 before the stable rollout in April.

As you know, Samsung started the One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in December last year. Since then, the Korean firm has released four beta builds alongside two minor hotfix updates. The Beta 4 build arrived at the end of February. It seems that Samsung is still dealing with critical bugs, so the company may release Beta 5 sometime this month.

The good news is that we won’t have to wait much longer for a stable release, as the company promised it would be available next month. Ahead of that, Samsung extended the beta program to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. The Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy A55 will also soon get beta updates. Interested users in the US, the UK, India, and South Korea can register through the Samsung Member app.

Galaxy users in the rest of the world must wait for the stable release to experience One UI 7.0. Or maybe get a feel of the update through the Try Galaxy app.
