Samsung Officially Unveils Galaxy A07 5G After Quiet Rollout

Over the past few weeks, Samsung quietly rolled out the Galaxy A07 5G in select markets without much fanfare. The company has now formally announced the new affordable 5G smartphone, giving it an official introduction. With that out of the way, the device should reach more regions soon

Designed for everyday practicality, the Galaxy A07 5G blends reliable performance with long battery life and extended software support. It covers all the essentials, while offering a few extras at an affordable price. The exact price will vary by market, but it should cost around $200 in most regions.

Spec-wise, the Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7-inch display paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. It comes with Gemini integration, allowing users to summon Google’s new AI assistant with a simple press of the side button. Gemini can perform multi-step tasks across native Samsung apps as well as select third-party apps.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A07 5G with a massive 6,000mAh battery, though 25W wired charging still feels restrictive. The phone could take about two hours to charge fully, or even more. However, once you have 100% battery, expect the device to run through a packed day of streaming, browsing, and social media without needing another charge.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, promises solid everyday performance. For enhanced durability, Samsung has built this budget phone with IP54 dust and water resistance and a glass-fiber-reinforced polymer back panel to reduce cracking risks.

For photography, the Galaxy A07 5G features 50MP main rear camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 8MP front-facing camera. The device ships with Android 16 (One UI 8), with Samsung promising up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The device also includes Samsung Knox Vault, along with features like Theft Protection and Auto Blocker for enhanced device security.

The Galaxy A07 5G will be available in Black, Light Violet, and Light Green colors across select markets.
