Samsung Offers a Special Way to Customize Galaxy Buds 4

Samsung has opened Galaxy Buds Custom Lab, a new experience space in select stores in South Korea. The space lets customers personalize their Galaxy Buds 4 in a fun way. They can use various stickers (such as Korean and English initials) and shapes to decorate their earbuds and cases.

The Galaxy Buds Custom Lab is currently open at Samsung Gangnam and Samsung Store Hongdae. If you own a Galaxy Buds 4 series model and visit the lab, you can decorate the earbuds’ Metal Blade and the top of the transparent charging case. This lets you create a one-of-a-kind “My Own Buds” for your personal style.

The lab reflects a trend in Korea called Byeoldakku, where people express their individuality by decorating items like smartphones, ballpoint pens, shoes, and tumblers with various stickers and parts. “Buds customization is becoming a hot topic, with content featuring the Galaxy Buds 4 series decorated with stickers and other items being uploaded daily on social media,” said the Korean firm.

Samsung also lets visitors who don’t own Galaxy Buds join in the fun. They can decorate acrylic models of the Galaxy Buds 4 on-site and take them home as keyrings. Apart from customization, the space features a listening area, letting visitors experience the Hi-Fi sound quality of the premium earbuds.

For the uninitiated, Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro offer a comfortable, secure fit for an immersive audio experience. The former adopts an open-type design without silicone ear tips, while the latter uses those tips for a solid listening experience. They feature a premium metal finish and a pinch-control area.
