Samsung Now Testing One UI 8 For Galaxy M34 and Galaxy A06 5G

Samsung is on a roll. So far, a number of devices have been spotted undergoing internal testing for One UI 8. With the Android 16-based One UI 8 already up and running on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, Samsung is ramping up its testing efforts. Now, the Galaxy M34 and Galaxy A06 5G have also been seen running One UI 8 on internal servers, which means they are one step closer to receiving the update.
Galaxy M34, Galaxy A06 5G getting ready for One UI 8 update
Mohammed Khatri spotted the Galaxy M34 and Galaxy A06 5G undergoing internal testing for One UI 8. Keep in mind, this doesn’t mean the update will roll out immediately. It will still take a few weeks, as the wider release is expected to begin with the Galaxy S25 series. For now, Samsung is only testing the update internally.
The build numbers in question are M346BXXU7EYG7 for the Galaxy M34 and A066MUBU3BYG6 for the Galaxy A06 5G. According to Khatri, the update is being tested in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brazil, and Peru for the Galaxy A06. For the Galaxy M34, internal testing is underway in India and Sri Lanka. Both devices are set to receive the One UI 8 update, and development is already in progress.
One UI 8 brings several improvements over its predecessor. While the changes may not be as significant as those introduced in One UI 7, the update includes new features from Android 16. Users can expect various enhancements and additions. The quickest way to experience these features is by getting Samsung’s latest foldables. If that’s not your plan, you’ll just need to wait a few more weeks for the update to arrive on your device.
