Samsung Maintains Lead in Global Commercial Display Market

Samsung continues to attract businesses with its wide range of display products. The company has secured the top position in the global commercial display market. This is its 17th consecutive year as the industry leader, showing a strong foothold in the B2B display sector.
Samsung offers advanced display solutions for businesses
According to Omdia, Samsung secured a 35.2% share of the global commercial display market (by unit sales) in 2025. The company also saw a record-breaking annual sales figure, shipping more than 2.5 million units. This puts the firm in a solid lead position compared to its rivals.
This achievement is mainly because of Samsung’s focus on next-generation signage solutions. The display products combine cutting-edge hardware with cloud and AI-based systems in retail, corporate, education, and more. This year, the company launched Spatial Signage with a 52 mm profile and a 49 kg build. Thanks to 3D Plate technology, the signage offers a glasses-free 3D viewing experience. It received recognition in the CES 2026 Innovation Award and the iF Design Award 2026.
Furthermore, Samsung continues to focus on sustainability with its Color E-Paper lineup. These displays offer an energy-efficient alternative to conventional paper posters. The newly launched 13-inch model features eco-friendly materials, including recycled plastic and phytoplankton-based bio-resin. This helps reduce carbon emissions during the manufacturing process.
Samsung also offers extra-large-format displays such as the 105-inch QPDX-5K and 115-inch QHFX models. These products are suitable for high-impact business environments. Thanks to its VXT platform, businesses can easily manage displays remotely along with content operations. Likewise, the AI Studio app lets them create videos from a single product image.
“Seventeen years at the top of the commercial display market is the result of listening to our B2B customers and evolving with them,” said Hyoung Jae Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “As businesses change, they need technology that is reliable, simple to manage and ready for what’s next. We’ll continue investing in displays and solutions that help our partners work more efficiently and create better experiences in any space.”
