Samsung has started rolling out the latest firmware update for the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro globally. After debuting in South Korea last week, the update is now reaching users in major regions, including the United States, India, and several European markets. It should soon hit all eligible units worldwide.

Galaxy Buds 3 series receives the latest update globally

The new update carries the build version AYJ1 and weighs just over 8MB. Despite its small size, it includes important improvements that enhance the overall performance of Samsung’s newest wireless earbuds. The official changelog mentions bug fixes, system stability enhancements, and optimizations for charging reliability, ensuring a smoother, more consistent experience for daily use.

Galaxy Buds 3 users can expect fewer connection interruptions, improved battery behavior, and better overall responsiveness after installing the update. Samsung hasn’t made any regional changes to the firmware, so the version number and changelog remain identical worldwide.

If you’re using the Galaxy Buds 3 or Buds 3 Pro, you can check for the update via the Settings app or the Galaxy Wearable app, depending on your connected phone. On Galaxy phones running One UI 8, connect the buds and go to Settings > select your buds at the top, just below Samsung Account > scroll down to Earbuds software update > tap Download and install.

However, on older One UI versions or other Android phones, you need the Galaxy Wearable app. Connect the buds and open the app > tap Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update, and follow the same process. If an update shows up, tap Update at the bottom and wait for the installation to complete.

Samsung continues to push out timely updates for its wearables, ensuring better reliability and long-term support. If the update hasn’t appeared on your device yet, don’t worry. It’s rolling out gradually across all markets and should reach your earbuds soon.
