A day before Unpacked, Samsung continues to drop teasers for the Galaxy S26 series. The latest teaser in its “Can your phone do that?” series takes a jab at Apple. More specifically, Samsung questions the photo editing limits of the iPhone, aiming to hype up its advanced Galaxy AI editing features.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S26 teaser takes direct aim at Apple

A 15-second clip posted on X opens with a woman who appears to be moving out after a breakup. Surrounded by boxes, she sits on a stool with a clearly somber expression. She pulls out her iPhone and opens a photo taken with her ex. Determined to erase him from her memory, she tries editing the image. She attempts to remove him, but every effort forces her to crop the frame so tightly that parts of her own photo get cut out. Her frustration is obvious.

Just then, another woman walks past carrying a cardboard box, seemingly part of the moving crew. She notices the awkward editing attempt and pauses, giving a subtle but telling reaction to the iPhone’s limitations. The look says it all: the Apple phone just isn’t getting the job done.

Samsung doesn’t go ahead and show the AI editing features of Galaxy phones. However, it subtly tells viewers about AI-powered object removal tools on its flagships. This video is a direct jab at limited AI features on iPhones. To further mock Apple, Samsung even deliberately chose an older iPhone model with a notch for the video, rather than newer ones featuring Dynamic Island.

Dropping this ad right before Unpacked makes it clear that Samsung isn’t waiting for the Galaxy S26 launch day to throw punches. The new flagships go official on February 25, with pre-orders likely beginning on the same day.
