Samsung has wrapped up the One UI 8 rollout and is now fully focusing on its next big software update, One UI 8.5. While public beta testing may be limited to the Galaxy S25 series, the company is internally testing the upcoming update for several other devices. Over the past few weeks, One UI 8.5 test builds have appeared for dozens of models on Samsung’s test servers. Here’s the full list of devices that are under active internal testing. List of Galaxy devices for which a One UI 8.5 test build has appeared

One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2. The stable version is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series next week. More devices should continue joining the testing phase as we move closer to the official release. If your device appears on this list, it does not mean the update will arrive soon. It only confirms that Samsung has started internal testing for that model. The list below shows Galaxy devices for which a One UI 8.5 stable build has appeared on the test server.

Galaxy S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra

S series

The only One UI 8.5-eligible S series model left to enter the testing phase is the Galaxy S21 FE.

Currently, only the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are eligible for the One UI 8.5 beta program. The beta is live in regions like India, Korea, Germany, Poland, the United States, and the United Kingdom. As expected, the Galaxy S25 Edge and S25 FE are not part of the beta program. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 could join later. However, no beta builds have appeared for them yet. No other devices are expected to be a part of the One UI 8.5 beta program.

If your device was eligible for One UI 8, it will most likely receive One UI 8.5 as well. The stable rollout is expected to begin in March or April this year. This post will be updated regularly as new builds are spotted, so make sure to check back again.
