Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Craze Continues, Sold Out Again

After Korea and China, Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold is now on sale in the UAE. And despite its staggering price tag, the device is proving to be a success. It continues to draw huge crowds, with stock depleting in no time. Samsung has confirmed that the first batch of the TriFold sold out on day one in the UAE as well.
Galaxy Z TriFold sold out quickly in another market
Samsung has been taking a flash-sale approach for the Galaxy Z TriFold, rolling out limited quantities at regular intervals. In Korea, the company has released the device in two batches so far, with both selling out within minutes. The device is seeing a similar craze in China. Now, with sales underway in the UAE, the story appears no different.
Shortly after sales began, Samsung UAE confirmed that the initial stock had sold out. While the company hasn’t revealed exact sales numbers, the quick sell-through highlights the appeal of its most experimental smartphone yet. Limited availability certainly amplifies demand, but the Galaxy Z TriFold doesn’t appear to be a failure, something that can’t be said for the Galaxy S25 Edge, another experimental phone launched earlier this year.
Samsung also plans to launch the TriFold in Taiwan, Singapore, and the US. The device is expected to go on sale stateside in the first quarter of 2026, likely as early as January. No official pricing is available for these markets, but it may cost around $2,500 for the 16GB + 512GB variant. The phone is available in Crafted Black and packs Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite “for Galaxy” processor.
Cameras include a 200MP primary sensor, the same high-end imaging hardware found in Samsung’s top-tier flagships, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The real highlight, however, is its massive 10-inch inner display, allowing users to transition from a 6.5-inch smartphone-sized cover screen to a tablet-like experience. Powering that expansive screen is a 5,600mAh battery, with support for 25W wired fast charging.
Overall, the Galaxy Z TriFold stands as one of the most ambitious smartphones Samsung has ever released. And the company may not be done just yet. Rumors suggest it could introduce a passport-style “wide” foldable next year. More details about this device should emerge in the coming months.
