And it doesn’t seem like a loophole, where users usually apply a promo code or change their country settings to access such offers. It could be due to ongoing talks between the Korean firm and Perplexity about a possible partnership to pre-install the Perplexity app on Galaxy devices. According to a Reddit user, Samsung pushed a notification about the one-year free Perplexity Pro offer. The user then downloaded the app from the Galaxy Store, and the offer was activated immediately. Meanwhile, Android Police also verified this and reported that the promotion is currently limited to Galaxy users in the US. If you already have the Perplexity app installed, make sure to uninstall it first. Then, reinstall it and sign in to Perplexity to avail the promotional offer.
