Here’s When Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Series Will Launch

Time and again, multiple reports have confirmed that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. Most likely, three models will be shown, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Now a report reveals when these Galaxy S26 phones will actually launch.

But before we start, what’s the difference between an announcement and a launch? Samsung announces its latest flagship series at Unpacked, but you can’t buy the phones outright at that point. When they become available in the market, that’s the launch.

Galaxy S26 series will launch and hit store shelves on March 11

According to Dealabs, the Galaxy S26 series, along with supported accessories, will launch on March 11, 2026, in Europe. The report only mentions Europe, but we can expect the same timeline for most parts of the world, including the US.

It’s usually around T+16, roughly the third Friday after announcement, and if the launch happens on a Thursday it can land closer to T+15. This lines up with Samsung’s usual release cycle, which typically falls around T+14 to T+16.

In simple terms, after announcing the Galaxy S series, Samsung opens pre-orders, and that is when you usually see double storage upgrades and stronger trade-in offers. This usually lasts about two weeks, after which Samsung makes the phones widely available, or launches them.

A report from the Korean outlet Financial News suggested that the Galaxy S26 series could see a price hike in some markets, but not in the US. That’s definitely good news for many of us.
