Samsung Starts Teasing Galaxy M17e in India

Samsung is preparing to launch another Galaxy M series phone in India, and it has now started teasing it. On March 7, Amazon India began teasing the Galaxy M17e 5G through a banner with the tagline “All in One Monster,” first spotted by the folks at SammyFans. The banner also revealed the upcoming phone in two color options: Purple and Green.

There’s little left to know about this phone, which will be available in only select markets. Essentially, it will be a rebrand of the Galaxy F70e, which itself is a rebrand of the Galaxy A07 5G. If anything, it will be one of Samsung’s entry-level 5G offerings. Moreover, the folks at The Tech Outlook also spotted the model on Samsung’s update policy page.

According to the listing, the Galaxy M17e 5G will likely come with six years of updates, much like its counterparts. It will also be eligible for the quarterly security updates that Samsung provides to several Galaxy devices. If that’s not enough, Samsung has already started officially teasing the Galaxy M17e 5G.

You can register your interest if you plan to buy the Galaxy M17e 5G when it officially launches. The poster suggests two color options and a dual camera setup, which may include a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. It should debut running One UI 8 based on Android 16. Battery capacity has always been one of the headline features of the Galaxy M series, and this one shouldn’t disappoint. It’s likely to feature a 6,000mAh battery.

Other than that, the processor could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We previously spotted the upcoming phone on Geekbench, which revealed its single-core and multi-core scores, and both were similar to those of the Galaxy F70e and Galaxy A07 5G.
