Samsung Galaxy F36 Now Available in India with Exynos 1380, 5,000mAh Battery

Samsung launched the Galaxy F36 a few days ago and has now opened orders for the budget phone in India. This model is part of the Galaxy F-series, which is mainly available in India and a few nearby markets.

Under the hood, the Galaxy F36 is powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, the same chipset found in the Galaxy A54. It comes with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI 7 right out of the box. Samsung has committed to providing four years of major operating system updates and an additional two years of security patches, offering the same level of support typically reserved for its higher-end models.

In terms of hardware, the F36 closely resembles the Galaxy A26 but with a few notable differences. Instead of a glass back, it features a vegan leather finish, available in Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black. The front display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, a feature that is rare at this price point.
The phone sports a 6.6-inch display, a 50MP main camera with a slightly larger sensor than the A26, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, a 13MP selfie camera is housed within a waterdrop notch. The device supports 4K video recording and includes Samsung’s standard AI-powered photography tools for enhanced image quality.
Battery capacity is solid, with a 5,000mAh cell and support for 25W fast charging, though it does not offer wireless charging. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card.
The Galaxy F36 is currently available for order on Samsung India’s official website and Flipkart. Introductory offers bring the price down to as low as INR 16,000 (~$185) in some cases. While the 8GB/256GB variant has not yet been released, the lower memory options will begin shipping from August 1.
