First Set of Galaxy A17 Renders Out As Launch Date Approaches

Even though Samsung often makes headlines with launches like the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series, there’s still a huge market for affordable phones. The Galaxy A1x series is a sleeper hit, consistently ranking among Samsung’s best-selling phones almost every year.
Galaxy A17 renders leave very little to the imagination
Now that the Galaxy A17’s release is drawing closer, Android Headlines has obtained what appear to be official renders. To be honest, these renders leave very little to the imagination when it comes to the Galaxy A17. But before we get into the rumored upgrades, why not take a look at the leaked images first?
You’ll notice that the camera module closely resembles those of the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56. In fact, even a fan-made Galaxy S26 Ultra render features similar design elements. The phone looks clean, but it still has uneven bezels, including a prominent chin and a small teardrop notch at the top.

According to the report, don’t expect any changes to the camera setup. It will likely keep the same 50MP main sensor, along with a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens on the back. The display is said to remain a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel, unchanged from the Galaxy A16 in size. The battery also stays the same at 5,000mAh with 25W charging support.
But wait, there’s at least one upgrade to look forward to: the internals. Samsung is swapping out the older Exynos 1330 chip for the newer Exynos 1380. Benchmarks indicate it’s still a budget-friendly chipset, delivering modest performance that fits an entry-level device. The Exynos 1380 features eight cores, with two running at a faster 2.4GHz and six at 2GHz.
The Galaxy A17’s launch is just around the corner, so we’ll soon get the official specs. Android Headlines also cites a Counterpoint report highlighting the Galaxy A16 as Samsung’s best-selling phone. I tend to agree that its successor won’t disappoint and will likely hold its ground as a top seller.
