Samsung offers a digital signage solution for businesses that includes several smart displays. The company recently expanded its partnership with Toyota Motor to bring these solutions to the carmaker’s additional dealerships in key markets. The goal is to transform traditional dealerships into dynamic and digitally improved environments.

Samsung boosts Toyota’s dealership engagement through smart signage displays

Earlier this year, Samsung completed a large-scale digital transformation of 1,250 Toyota dealerships across 40 countries in Europe. This is one of the company’s most comprehensive commercial signage projects to date. So far, it has installed 23,000 Smart Signage displays in Toyota dealerships across Europe, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

“The trend of digitalizing car dealerships is accelerating globally, and digital signage is playing a key role in that shift,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Business team, Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Through our partnership with Toyota Motor, we’re proud to deliver innovative solutions that amplify the car-buying process for customers worldwide. We’re also committed to developing differentiated technologies tailored to the needs of globally diverse markets.”

Samsung installed smart displays in important areas of Toyota’s digital dealerships, including reception desks, consultation booths, vehicle display zones, and customer lounges. These displays are part of the QMC series, with 4K UHD screens ranging from 43 to 98 inches. Thanks to their anti-glare panels and uniform bezels, they can be easily set up in either portrait or landscape mode.

This allows customers to check Toyota’s car models, features, offers, and even build their ideal vehicle configuration directly on the screen. The interactive touchscreens make the showroom visit more engaging while offering an efficient shopping experience. At the same time, sales staff can provide personalized advice instead of routine product explanations.

Thanks to Samsung’s MagicINFO system, the remote device management solution lets Toyota teams monitor performance and fix issues remotely. Furthermore, the system also includes enterprise-grade safeguards to protect customer data and maintain privacy. Samsung will now bring these smart displays and digital tools to additional Toyota dealerships in new markets.
