Samsung Expands One UI 8 Testing to Galaxy M33, Galaxy F15

A number of devices are expected to receive the Android 16-based One UI 8 update, and the list of eligible models is quite extensive, ranging from flagship phones to more budget-friendly options. On that note, Samsung has now begun testing the One UI 8 build for both the Galaxy F15 and the Galaxy M33.

Mohammed Khatri (1, 2) on X spotted the One UI 8 on Samsung’s test server for the Galaxy F15 and Galaxy M33. So far, Samsung has started testing the One UI 8 for the F15 in India. For the Galaxy M33, however, testing has kicked off in India, Europe, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. In these markets, the devices are officially available.
The build numbers for the One UI 8 testing in question are E156BXXU6CYG5 and M336BUXXUCGYG1 for the Galaxy F15 and Galaxy M33, respectively. Keep in mind that the update has only just begun rolling out, and it will take at least a few weeks until the stable version is ready. In the meantime, users will have to make do with One UI 7.
The latest foldables are officially available starting today, and they debut with the stable version of One UI 8. Those who pre-ordered have already started receiving their devices since last week. Now, the Galaxy S25 series is next in line once the One UI 8 stable rollout begins. So far, it has received over three rounds of One UI 8 beta, with the fourth currently in the pipeline.
