Samsung Expands One UI 8 Rollout to Galaxy A54 and A34

Samsung’s update spree continues. The company is rolling out One UI 8 to more devices at a rapid pace, and the latest to join the list are the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. With the rollout expanding quickly, more Galaxy smartphones and tablets are expected to receive the update in the coming days.
Galaxy A54 and A34 also get One UI 8 as Samsung picks up pace
Following the successful rollout for the Galaxy A56, A36, A55, and A35, Samsung is now extending One UI 8 to their predecessors. As usual, both the Galaxy A54 and A34 are initially receiving the Android 16-based update in South Korea. The new firmware build versions for the phones are A546SKSUCEYI5 and A346NKSUAEYI7, respectively.
Samsung will soon start pushing One UI 8 to these devices in other markets. While it may take a few days before the update reaches users worldwide, the countdown has begun. If you own a Galaxy A54 or Galaxy A34, keep an eye out for a notification prompting you to download the update. You can also manually check for it from the Settings app (Software update > Download and install).
Built on Android 16, One UI 8 introduces a host of refinements. You get a cleaner interface, expanded Galaxy AI tools, and improvements to system apps. One of the highlights for mid-range owners is the wider availability of Samsung’s Good Lock customization suite, which was previously limited to select markets.
The update also brings the September 2025 security patch to the Galaxy A54 and A34, ensuring protection against the latest threats and vulnerabilities. With this release, Samsung continues to show that its mid-range Galaxy lineup is a key part of its software strategy. It will soon start pushing One UI 8 to the remaining Galaxy devices globally.
