A few days ago, Samsung finally rolled out the long-awaited stable version of One UI 7, its Android 15 update for Galaxy devices. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, and Fold SE received the big update in Samsung’s home country of South Korea. The company has now begun a wider rollout, with One UI 7 reaching the 2024 flagships in Europe. It should soon arrive in the US and other markets.
Samsung rolls out One UI 7 in Europe; more markets to follow
After Korea, Samsung released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series in Germany. Now, the update is available in two more European countries: the UK and Poland. These are the only three markets in the region where Samsung launched beta programs — the company is initially rolling out the update to users who participated in One UI 7 beta.
However, it shouldn’t be long before Samsung brings One UI 7 to the Galaxy S24 in the rest of Europe. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 should also soon receive the big update in the region — the Korean firm never launched the Fold SE outside China and Korea. One UI 7 is also set to roll out for these devices in the US starting Thursday, April 10. A global release is expected on April 14, i.e., the next Monday.
Starting next week, Samsung may also roll out One UI 7 for the Galaxy S23 and a few other devices. The company has dozens of smartphones and tablets lined up for the Android 15 update. It expects to complete the rollout by the end of June.
One UI 7 introduces a fresh new design with expanded customization options, dynamic widgets, and a host of AI-driven enhancements aimed at improving usability and productivity. It’s a significant step forward in Samsung’s vision of delivering a more intuitive and personalized smartphone experience. If you own a supported Galaxy device, keep an eye out — your One UI 7 update is on the way.
