Samsung Expands January 2026 Security Patch Rollout To a Dozen Galaxy Devices

Samsung started off the January 2026 security patch rollout with the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A34. Over the past few days, the company has expanded the update to dozens of Galaxy devices. New additions from the A series include the Galaxy A05, Galaxy A07, Galaxy A14, Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A73. From the M series, the Galaxy M14 5G, Galaxy M15, and Galaxy M23 have also joined the list. The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro has also picked up the January 2026 security update.

Samsung expands January 2026 security patch rollout to more Galaxy devices

The Galaxy A07 4G is now getting the January 2026 security patch in regions such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The update comes along with the firmware version A075FXXS3BZA1. The Galaxy A14 5G has also begun getting the update in Malaysia and carries the build number A146PXXSGEZA1.

Samsung has pushed the January 2026 security patch to the Galaxy A36 in Europe and Turkey with the build version A366BXXS7BZA1. The Galaxy A73 has also started seeing the update in Thailand, Australia, and the Philippines. The A73 carries the build version A736BXXSAGZA1.

On the M series side, the Galaxy M14 5G has picked up the update in Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. It carries the build version M146BXXUBDYL1. Its successor, the Galaxy M15, is now on the January 2026 security patch in South Korea with the build version M156SKSS6CZA1.

The January 2026 security patch addresses 55 security vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and other partners. While it does not bring any major new features, it improves overall system security and stability.

Samsung has already rolled out the update to many eligible devices. The remaining models should follow in the coming days. If you own any of the devices mentioned above, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download completes, tap Install now. Make sure your device has enough battery and is not overheating before proceeding with the installation.
