Samsung has officially announced the One UI 7 update roadmap for its Galaxy devices in Canada. While the rollout is already underway, the company expects it to continue through July. It will update dozens of smartphones and tablets over this period. Here’s a breakdown of when Canadian Galaxy users can expect to receive One UI 7.
Samsung shares its One UI 7 update roadmap for Canada
Earlier this month, Samsung released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Canada and a few other markets. However, the company later halted the rollout due to bugs. While it recently resumed the update in Korea, it hasn’t arrived in Canada. Samsung’s newly published One UI 7 roadmap suggests the update will resume in Canada in May. Below is the full timeline.

July 2025
- Galaxy XCover 6 Pro
As you can see, Samsung expects to deliver the One UI 7 update to the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro in Canada sometime in July. The company’s official roadmaps for other regions have also confirmed the rollout stretching into July. However, we still have reservations about the authenticity of the information published on Samsung Canada’s website.
There’s no way the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 should get the big update after the likes of the Galaxy A54, which launched before the two 2023 foldables. The list also mentions that the Fold 6 and Flip 6 will get One UI 7 in June, though the rollout for these models began earlier this month. Maybe Samsung doesn’t expect to resume the update until June, though we doubt that. Or maybe the roadmap mistakenly listed all foldables to get One UI 7 in June rather than May; we shall find out soon.
