Samsung Browser for Windows Officially Launches with Agentic AI

After months of beta testing, Samsung has officially launched its Samsung Browser for Windows. The browser brings several smart browsing features, including cross-device continuity and agentic AI capabilities. It is available on devices running Windows 11 and Windows 10 (version 1809 and above).
Samsung brings a smart browsing experience to Windows
Samsung already offers the Samsung Browser (formerly Samsung Internet) on mobile devices. The company has now officially expanded its browser to Windows, bringing the same experience to desktop users. Speaking of key features, cross-device continuity lets you start browsing on your phone and continue on a PC. This goes beyond simply syncing bookmarks and history, making the shift between devices smooth.
Thanks to Samsung Pass integration, you can quickly sign in to websites and autofill forms. One of the most compelling additions, however, is the agentic AI capability directly baked into the browser. The company teamed up with Perplexity to bring a new AI-powered assistant that makes the browsing experience more intuitive.

The assistant supports intelligent content understanding to improve browsing. For example, you can ask the browser to create a travel plan based on the webpage you are viewing. The AI analyzes the webpage’s specific context and generates a structured plan. Moreover, the AI assistant makes searching faster and more efficient. You don’t need to go through countless webpages as you get the right answers instantly. The best thing is that the browser can also understand video content.
Regarding browsing history, the AI introduces an easy way to search previously visited pages. You can simply describe what you are looking for, such as a phone you searched for last week, and the browser will display the history quickly. Thanks to multi-tab context awareness, the browser can summarize and compare content across multiple open tabs.
As of now, the agentic AI features are available in select markets, including South Korea and the United States. The company plans to expand to more regions in the future. You can visit here to download the Samsung Browser for Windows.
