Samsung recently made its 2026 TV lineup available in the United States. Alongside a host of smart features, the company has brought support for Google Cast across its latest TVs. This could let you stream videos and music directly from your smartphones or tablets to TVs.

Samsung’s latest TVs come with support for Google Cast

While Samsung’s press release did not spotlight Google Cast support, the specification sheets for the new TV models mention it (as first spotted by Sammobile). This feature is part of a wide range of new TVs, including Mini LED, Neo QLED, and Crystal UHD models.

For the uninitiated, Google Cast lets you wirelessly stream content from devices like phones and tablets to compatible display products. It works with a host of popular apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Spotify. Once connected, your device acts as a remote control, letting you enjoy content on a big screen.

Of course, Samsung’s own Smart View feature already lets you mirror your smartphone screen to a TV. However, Google Cast has been missing for several years, which limits flexibility for users. Last year, the company brought this feature to its 2025 hotel TV lineup, taking in-room entertainment to the next level.

Now, Samsung expands Google Cast to its latest home TV lineup for regular users. It’s unclear whether the feature will make its way to older TV models through a software update. For now, it is definitely one of the key features of the 2026 TV lineup.

If you are unfamiliar, Samsung’s new Mini LED lineup includes models like the M70H and M80H. They offer spectrum Color, Mini LED HDR, and optional AI color enhancement. The 2026 Neo QLED 4K models, including the QN70H and QN80H, use Quantum Mini LED backlighting and quantum dot technology. Meanwhile, the Crystal UHD U8000H series offers reliable 4K performance.
