Samsung’s Galaxy AI will soon be available in four more languages. The company today announced support for Dutch, Turkish, Swedish, and Romanian languages for its AI features. Galaxy users can access these languages starting next Monday, with more to follow later this year.

Galaxy AI adds support for four new languages

When Samsung launched Galaxy AI with the Galaxy S24 series, it initially supported only a few languages. The company promised to expand language support as it rolled out AI features to older devices. Staying true to its word, the Korean firm has gradually made Galaxy AI more accessible by adding new languages. It now supports 16 languages, along with a few regional dialects for select languages.

Starting Monday, October 28, Galaxy AI will be accessible in Dutch as well. Samsung will then roll out Turkish, Swedish, and Romanian languages, taking the total up to 20. The company has also announced support for additional dialect variants for Chinese and Portuguese, including traditional Chinese and Portuguese (Europe). Expect it to add more languages and features in the coming months, possibly with the Galaxy S25 launch.

With this expansion, Galaxy AI will be available in Arabic, Chinese (traditional Chinese, Cantonese), Dutch, English (Australia, India, United Kingdom, United States), French (Canada), German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil, Europe), Romanian, Russian, Spanish (Mexico, Spain, United States), Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

“This update means that even more users will be able to lower everyday language and cultural barriers and expand their world thanks to the power of Galaxy AI,” Samsung said in an official press release. If you want to use Galaxy AI features in your regional language, you need to download the desired language pack from the Settings app. Go to General management > Language packs and select a language to download it.
