Samsung Bags Two Guinness World Records with India #WithGalaxy Campaign

Samsung has been pushing mobile photography hard in India over the past few years, and its latest effort has now landed it a spot in the Guinness. What began as a nationwide photography challenge has turned into something much bigger.
Samsung just landed two Guinness World Records with massive Galaxy S challenge
As it stands, Samsung has secured two Guinness World Records for its India #WithGalaxy photography initiative. It encouraged users across India to capture everyday moments using Galaxy S series. The India #WithGalaxy campaign ran from December 30, 2025, to January 26, 2026.
Guinness World Records recognized the campaign as the Largest Smartphone Photography Competition in the world. Moreover, it also set a record for the Most Contributions to an online photo sentence. The latter combines thousands of individual photos into one collaborative digital artwork.

In total, Samsung had received 31,331 photo submissions. All of which were stitched together into a massive visual mosaic. Filmmaker Kabir Khan fronted the campaign, along with more than 30 regional photographers who helped guide contributors.
Submissions were organized into four themes: Faces of India, Sights of India, Spirit of India, and Colours of India. Together, they covered portraits, landscapes, street scenes, food, and cultural details from across the country. Samsung has run plenty of photography-driven campaigns before. But the scale of India #WithGalaxy makes it stand out.
In a statement, Samsung India’s Senior Vice President of MX Business, Raju Pullan, said:
“The India #WithGalaxy campaign unites people and celebrates the essence of a nation. By setting two Guinness World Records, we have showcased the capabilities of the Galaxy S Series and amplified the voices of our consumers who celebrate India’s diversity, beauty, and spirit through their lenses. This initiative reflects Samsung’s commitment to fostering innovation and cultural storytelling, empowering individuals to share their unique perspectives. We are immensely proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who contributed to making this milestone possible.”
