At its annual developer conference (SDC) earlier this month, Samsung officially announced One UI 7. However, it didn’t reveal much about the upcoming big update and only gave us a glimpse. The company is now gearing up for the Korean edition of SDC on November 21. It may finally unveil One UI 7 and announce a beta release at the event.

SDC Korea could finally bring Samsung’s One UI 7 beta update

One UI 7 is Samsung’s next major feature update for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, built on Android 15. It promises a range of enhancements and new features aimed at redefining the Galaxy experience. The update brings refreshed design elements, smoother animations, and updated color schemes for app icons, giving Samsung’s custom UI a fresh, modern look.

Leaks have already revealed plenty about the new One UI version. However, we still do not have a beta release date, let alone a stable rollout (the stable version is confirmed to arrive in early 2025 following the Galaxy S25 launch). Rumors say Samsung plans to start One UI 7 beta testing in November. It is now expected to unveil the big update at SDC Korea next month.

The event will be held online on November 21. Jeon Kyung-hoon, President and Chief Technology Officer of Samsung’s DX Division, will deliver the welcome speech at SDC Korea. The conference will also feature executives from several other business divisions. One UI 7 could be one of the major announcements at the event, though the company hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

Samsung plans to run One UI 7 beta testing until the Galaxy S25 launch in early January. The new flagships will ship with the updated version out of the box. The company will then roll out the stable build to other eligible models. Stay tuned for more about Samsung’s One UI 7 update for Galaxy devices.
