Samsung Announces 2026 Odyssey Gaming Monitors Ahead of CES

CES is now just days away, and Samsung is set to continue its tradition of unveiling new monitors at the event. The company has already revealed its 2026 Odyssey monitor lineup, which consists of five new gaming monitors. Two of them immediately stand out: the world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D gaming monitor and the first display to reach a 1,040Hz refresh rate.
Samsung reveals 2026 Odyssey monitors with 6K 3D and 1,040Hz refresh rate
The headliner is clearly the all-new 32-inch Odyssey 3D (G90XH), which Samsung is calling the world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D gaming monitor. For once, that claim actually carries some weight. The panel runs at a native 6K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate, and it can switch to a Dual Mode that lowers the resolution to 3K while pushing the refresh rate up to 330Hz.

If raw speed is your top priority, the new Odyssey G6 (G60H) is hard to ignore. This 27-inch QHD monitor becomes the first gaming display to hit a 1,040Hz refresh rate using Dual Mode. At its native resolution, it still tops out at a 600Hz. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, which should help keep gameplay smooth even at extreme frame rates.

Beyond those two, Samsung is also expanding the Odyssey G8 family with three new models. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) features a 6K panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and a Dual Mode that enables 330Hz at a lower resolution. The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) offers a 5K display with a native 180Hz refresh rate, or up to 360Hz at QHD. And the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) pairs a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, and DisplayPort 2.1.
Samsung will announce additional details such as pricing and availability during CES 2026, which kicks off on January 6. As usual, we’ll be on the ground in Vegas and will keep you updated.
