Samsung has added a wave of new artwork to its Art Store in recent months, and it’s not slowing down. Earlier today, the company announced the MoMA: Ruth Asawa Collection for the Samsung Art Store, bringing 25 works by American artist Ruth Asawa to supported TVs worldwide.

MoMA’s Ruth Asawa collection arrives on Samsung’s Art Store

Asawa isn’t mainstream in the way Monet or Van Gogh are, but that’s kind of the point. She’s best known for her wire sculptures, but her work doesn’t stop there. It includes drawings, prints, paper pieces, and experiments with form and repetition. Much of it is quiet and minimal, which fits a TV screen better than loud, overly decorative art.

The collection is live now on The Frame and select QLED models, all shown in 4K. Will this convince someone to buy a Samsung TV? Probably not on its own. But if you already use The Frame as wall art, it’s one of the better updates Samsung’s rolled out in a while. And if you’re in the market, there are plenty of Samsung TV offers worth a look right now.

In a statement, Daria Greene, Global Curator, Samsung Art Store, said:

“The subtle complexity and breath-like fluidity of Ruth Asawa’s work make her a uniquely transformative artist in the Samsung Art Store portfolio. We’re honored to bring these quietly powerful pieces into living spaces everywhere, allowing more people to experience the balance of presence, precision, and beauty that defines her work.”

On the other hand, Jesse Goldstine, Chief Retail Officer, MoMA, said:

“We’re delighted to see Ruth Asawa’s remarkable creations gain new life on Samsung Art Store. Her work, grounded in structural curiosity and visual poetry, now connects with audiences in their everyday environments, expanding how and where art can be experienced.”
