Personal Data Intelligence App Update Brings Now Brief UI Enhancements

Samsung has rolled out an update for its Personal Data Intelligence app with version 7.0.07.1. The latest update brings improvement to the Now Brief UI to ensure compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). The new version should be available to all eligible Galaxy users worldwide over the next few days.
Samsung updates Personal Data Intelligence app to meet EAA standards
Introduced with the Galaxy S25 series, Now Brief provides a personalized AI briefing of selected content throughout the day. It can display useful information such as live notifications, music, and routines right on the lock screen. While this feature is part of One UI 7, it remains exclusive to the latest Galaxy S series. That said, recent evidence suggests it may eventually roll out to older flagship devices as well.
With each new update to the Personal Data Intelligence app, Samsung aims to improve Now Brief’s functionality as well as add support for new types of content. A few days ago, the company introduced deeper Spotify integration to Now Brief for a better music experience. Now it brings improvements to the Now Brief interface to meet EAA accessibility standards.
Since the European Accessibility Act will come into effect on June 28, 2025, Samsung is updating its apps to ensure compliance ahead of the deadline. The act mandates accessibility requirements for some products and services to ensure that persons with disabilities and elderly people can benefit from them.
As a result, you can expect Now Brief to offer a user-friendly experience with simplified navigation as well as enhanced visual contrast. While the app release notes do not mention additional details, it’s possible that the latest version also bundles improvements to other Suggestions features across Samsung Keyboard, Settings, Gallery, and more.
If you want to experience all these enhancements, head over to the Galaxy Store and update the Personal Data Intelligence app. The new version may not show up on your device right away, as Samsung usually rolls out updates in phases. If that’s the case, you need to wait for a few days.
