PC Version of Samsung Internet Improves Galaxy AI in Latest Update

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the PC version of Samsung Internet, introducing bug fixes and Galaxy AI improvements. The latest build, released earlier this month, is now reaching users more widely, though the app remains in closed beta for now. The company has yet to share a timeline for a public, stable release.
Samsung Internet for PC gets a new update with Galaxy AI improvements
In October, Samsung officially launched a web browser for Windows PC. It’s essentially a PC version of its existing Samsung Internet app for mobile, which has been around for over a decade. Since the initial release, the company has been steadily polishing the experience with new features and enhancements, and this latest update continues that trend.
According to the official changelog, Samsung Internet version 29.0.0.142 for Windows brings two key changes. Samsung has improved the Galaxy AI translation performance, making language translation more accurate and reliable when browsing multilingual content. It has also fixed time-related handling errors in the Quick Add function within Calendar, addressing a bug that could cause incorrect time information to be saved.
While the update doesn’t add major new features, it improves stability and usability. This kind of tuning helps the app move closer to a stable release. In fact, Samsung has rolled out five updates to the app in just over six weeks, so it is rushing toward the stable version. Previous updates added a custom search engine setting feature, default HTTPS connections, additional security layers when accessing saved passwords, and a bunch of other bug fixes.
Hopefully, Samsung Internet for Windows will see a public release soon. We will make sure to let you know when that happens. We will also keep you posted with future beta releases, so stay tuned.
