One UI 8 Watch Update Arrives for Galaxy Watch 6 LTE in India

At a time when Samsung is busy rolling out the One UI 8.5 beta update, it is also turning its attention to devices that were still awaiting updates. In that vein, Samsung has now begun rolling out the One UI 8 Watch update to Galaxy Watch 6 LTE users in India. The initial rollout kicked off in the company’s home turf i.e., Korea during the last week of November.

As shared by Tarun Vats on X, Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 6 LTE in India. The build version in question is R965FXXU1CYK2, and, somewhat disappointingly, it still carries the October 2025 security patch level. The update weighs in at around 1.8GB.

One UI 8 Watch comes loaded with a host of new features, spanning both system-level upgrades and visual enhancements. Users will notice a refreshed look across the watch interface after updating. These changes include an improved tiles interface, the new Now Bar, and fresh Samsung Health features. As usual, the update also brings a couple of new watch faces to play around with.

You can check for the update manually through the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected smartphone. Simply open the app, navigate to Watch settings, tap Watch software update, and select Download and install. Make sure your watch is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi to ensure a smooth, interruption-free update process.
