Sports fans using Galaxy smartphones are getting a handy new upgrade to Google Sports on Now Bar. You now get live win probability alongside real-time scores, giving you a better sense of how the game is unfolding. The new metrics recently started appearing on Galaxy devices running One UI 8 and One UI 7.

Now Bar starts showing live win probability for Google Sports

Google’s Sports on Now Bar lets fans stay connected to their favorite team’s matches, even when they can’t watch live. It delivers real-time scores right to the lock screen, with extra details available in the notification panel. Now, it’s getting even better with the addition of win probability metrics, giving you instant insight into each team’s chances of victory as the game unfolds.

The win probability stat calculates a team’s chances of winning in real time, factoring in the current score, time remaining, and game situation. It’s a simple addition, but one that adds valuable context to the raw numbers, especially during tense matches when the outcome could go either way. This stat is already available on Google Sports, and now shows up in Now Bar too.

This Now Bar upgrade has started rolling out to One UI 8 and One UI 7 users in the US, the UK, and several other regions. It should be available globally soon. You won’t have to tweak any settings or download extra apps. The feature should appear automatically for supported devices once it’s available in your area.

Now Bar first launched earlier this year with One UI 7 on the Galaxy S25 series. Besides live sports scores from Google Sports, it offers quick access to ongoing activities across various apps, including media player, Samsung Health, Samsung Notes, Voice Recorder, SmartThings, Samsung Wallet, and more. It’s a quick and convenient way to stay in the loop, whether you’re at work, commuting, or multitasking.
