One UI 8 Update for the Galaxy A73 Arrives in India

Over the past few weeks, several Galaxy devices have received the One UI 8 update across various regions. The One UI 8 update rollout continues, and the Galaxy A73 is the latest to get a slice of the pie. It’s now receiving the One UI 8 update in India, as confirmed by user reports.
Samsung rolls out One UI 8 update to Galaxy A73 in India
User reports (thanks to Mohammed Khatri!) confirm that Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy A73 in India. The update comes with build version A736BXXUAGYJ1 and includes the September 2025 security patch. As seen in the screenshot, the update is approximately 2.5GB in size, similar to other A-series devices.

If you own a Galaxy A73 in India, the One UI 8 update may already be available for you. To install it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Next, tap Install Now. The installation will take some time, after which your device will reboot and launch with the latest One UI 8 software.

Meanwhile, Samsung is actively preparing the One UI 8.5 update, which may include a beta program. While the eligible devices haven’t been officially confirmed, it’s likely that the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will be among the first to receive it.
