One UI 8 Beta 2 Released — Beta Program Expands to More Markets

Samsung has released One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S25 series. The company is pushing the ZYF3 build, with the rollout beginning in several regions. With this release, Samsung has also expanded the beta program to more markets, including India and Poland. Galaxy S25 users in these countries are getting the same ZYF3 build, complete with the June security patch.
Galaxy S25 series gets One UI 8 Beta 2
Last month, Samsung released One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in South Korea, Germany, the UK, and the US. It is now rolling out Beta 2, starting in the former three markets — users in the US should get the second beta update shortly. The company is also pushing the new beta build to Galaxy S25 users in India and Poland.
The second beta build weighs around 1.2GB for the Galaxy S25 Ultra running Beta 1. However, since it’s the first beta release in India and Poland, the OTA (over the air) package is bigger, weighing around 3.6GB. With this release, Samsung is updating the Galaxy S25 trio to the June security patch.
As far as the fixes in Beta 2 are concerned, Samsung has addressed the Now Brief text alignment issue for a more consistent UI. It has also fixed battery widget icon and lock screen widget sizing issues, made fingerprint unlock and Secure Folder biometric improvements, enhanced Bluetooth call volume stability in cars, addressed game notification sounds, and improved gesture navigation.
Additionally, the release notes mention improvements for Galaxy AI weather/time wallpapers, S Pen Air Command icon, Naver blog writing stability, KakaoTalk notifications, alarm sounds, and camera performance. One UI 8 Beta 2 may contain more minor bug fixes for enhanced system stability and reliability. Galaxy S25 users who have enrolled in the beta program should get the new release soon.
