Camera App in One UI 8.5 to Bring LUT Profiles, 3D Recording and APV Support

The cat is out of the bag with One UI 8.5, and this update is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s biggest yet. A lot of features have already leaked, but the Camera app is where things are getting really interesting in One UI 8.5.
Change LUT profiles on device
A few days ago, we exclusively published about the upcoming LUT (Look-Up Table) profile support, hidden within a previous build of Samsung’s camera app. A new leak from X user @achour_hm shows a selection of LUT profiles any LOG recorded video can have applied to. Whether you want a dark, dramatic vibe, or a romantic feel, you will have more flexibility with what you can shoot.

In addition to that, we have more evidence backing up previously discovered features. X user @LaidBackDev_ dug into the code and found some interesting strings.
3D Capture could be baked into the One UI 8.5’s Camera app
At the moment, you need a special version of Camera Assistant to record 3D photos and videos. With One UI 8.5, that may no longer be the case.
Developer @LaidBackDev_ found references to 3D, VR, and spatial media directly inside the Camera app. When enabled, this would make 3D capture a built-in feature instead of an optional add-on.

In the exact same thread, he also discovered more information surrounding the Advanced Professional Video (APV) codec. There are direct references to the new feature, including a toggle in the viewfinder, as well as the ability to convert APV videos to HEVC.
