One UI 7 may have been the most delayed update in recent history, but it’s now slowly catching up. After rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update to the Galaxy Tab S9 series in South Korea, Samsung has now expanded the update to more users in Europe. It’s likely that the update will go global in the coming days, so be sure to keep an eye out for it.
Samsung is rolling out One UI 7 update for Galaxy Tab S9 series
Samsung’s One UI 7 stable update is now rolling out for the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra devices in Europe (via Tarun Vats). The update is approximately 5GB in size. As expected, it introduces a range of exciting changes, including a more refined interface, improved multitasking capabilities, enhanced app management, and deeper integration with Galaxy AI.
The update for the Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra comes with firmware versions X710XXU5CYD9, X810XXU5CYD9, and X910XXU5CYD9, respectively. It includes the April 2025 security patch.
If you own a Galaxy Tab S9 device, be sure to check whether the One UI 7 update is available for you. To do this, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If an update is available, make sure to install it.
Earlier today, Samsung also began rolling out the One UI 7 update to the Galaxy Tab S10 series in Europe, following shortly after the release in South Korea. Additionally, Samsung rolled out the One UI 7 Beta 3 update for the Galaxy A55 in India. While it’s still in beta, it includes the May 2025 security patch.
