One UI 7 Update Hits Galaxy A24 and M53 with New Features

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update to two of its popular mid-range smartphones — the Galaxy M53 and Galaxy A24. While the rollout initially began in South Korea, the update is gradually expanding to other markets, giving users a fresh set of features, visual upgrades, and important security enhancements.
Galaxy A24 and Galaxy M53 get One UI 7 with Android 15
A few days ago, Samsung released One UI 7 for the Galaxy A24 in South Korea. The update is now available in other parts of Asia, as well as some African countries. It carries the firmware build version A245FXXU8DYE5 and bundles the May security patch. The OTA (over the air) package weighs 3.4GB and brings a myriad of new features and changes.
This update is also rolling out to the Galaxy M53, starting in Korea, where it is known as the Galaxy Quantum 3. Users should get a similar OTA file size, with Samsung including the May security patch alongside the One UI 7 goodies. The update should soon reach other parts of the world.
One UI 7 brings new icons, refined aesthetics, and cleaner layouts to Galaxy devices. The notifications and quick settings now live in separate panels, and animations are smoother than ever. Samsung has also adopted a vertical-scrolling app drawer, making app navigation more intuitive. Live Notifications and Now Bar allow you to track ongoing activities — like timers, sports scores, and music — from anywhere on your phone or lock screen.
In short, One UI 7 breathes new life into both the Galaxy M53 and A24, delivering not just performance and visual upgrades but also keeping the devices secure. To check for updates, go to Settings, tap Software update, and select Download and install. Stay tuned as Samsung expands the One UI 7 rollout, covering more Galaxy devices.
