Samsung’s latest Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S24 FE, is now getting One UI 7 widely. The update is rolling out across the US and Europe. This follows an earlier rollout in Korea and select other markets. The latest expansion kicks off a global release of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 FE.
Galaxy S24 FE’s One UI 7 update goes global
Over the past few weeks, Samsung has rolled out One UI 7 for more than 25 different Galaxy models. We are talking about the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, S22 series, Fold SE, Fold 6, Fold 5, Fold 4, Flip 6, Flip 5, Flip 4, Tab S10 series, Tab S9 series, Tab S8 series, S24 FE, and S23 FE. Some devices have already received the update globally, while it’s gradually expanding to more regions for others.
The Galaxy S24 FE is now getting One UI 7 in additional markets, including the US and Europe. The update carries the firmware version BYD9 and comes with an OTA size of around 5GB. In the US, Samsung is initially updating factory-unlocked units. Users with a carrier-locked model should get One UI 7 in the coming days.
The Korean tech biggie will soon release One UI 7 for more Galaxy devices as it expands the rollout globally. It has dozens more to update, with around 80 different models eligible for One UI 7 in some regions — fewer in other regions, as Samsung doesn’t launch all Galaxy phones and tablets worldwide.
