The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is finally out of the bag, which means we’re closer than ever to the One UI 7.0 stable version. The One UI 7.0 beta program kicked off in early December. And since then, the Galaxy S24 series has gone through three beta rounds. But this might just mark the end of the beta program.
One UI 7.0 stable coming for Galaxy S24, S23 series
According to tipster @FamilyTaes, the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series will drop sometime in February. Additionally, a Samsung community moderator has confirmed that all Galaxy S24 series users will receive the update simultaneously. This means that whether or not you enrolled in the One UI 7.0 beta program, everyone will get the update at the same time.
Since the Galaxy S23 series never received the One UI 7.0 beta build, it will jump straight to the One UI 7 stable update. That said, we can expect more features on the horizon, especially for the Galaxy S25 series, which will likely launch with the One UI 7.1 update. The One UI 7.1 update is expected to roll out in the second quarter of the year. This means the stable build might arrive sometime between April and June. The Galaxy S23 and S24 series will receive “most of the basic AI features.” Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series is likely to get the One UI 7.0 stable update in March.
While the spotlight is on One UI 7.0 right now, Samsung has already begun internal testing for Android 16-based One UI 8. This early start may be due to Google ramping up the Android 16 release timeline, which appears to be moving faster than Android 15’s rollout.
