Samsung has released a new update for its One Hand Operation+ module with version 8.3.19. The update brings stability improvements and fixes several bugs, including issues with gesture angle settings. It is rolling out globally and should hit all eligible Galaxy devices over the coming days.

Samsung rolls out a new update for the One Hand Operation+ app

One Hand Operation+ is a popular module within Samsung’s Good Lock app. It lets you control your Galaxy phone or tablet easily with just one hand. This is mainly helpful for users who struggle to reach all corners of the larger screen device with their thumb. When you activate the module, it adds a thin gesture handle to the left or right side of the screen. You can perform a bunch of actions, such as Back, Home, Recent, or even open the notification panel.

Samsung continues to improve One Hand Operation+ through regular updates, adding more customization options and fixing bugs. A few weeks ago, the module became fully compatible with devices running One UI 8 (Android 16). However, the company recently identified some issues and patched them with the latest update.

The changelog also mentioned that it fixed the gesture angle issue within the gesture settings. So, you can expect a smoother experience when customizing angles for gestures. Furthermore, the update addresses general bug fixes and stability improvements for a seamless one-handed experience.

If you use One Hand Operation+ to navigate large Galaxy screens, the latest update is definitely worth installing. To do so, there are basically two ways: either via the Galaxy Store or from the Good Lock app. The former is simple — just open the Galaxy Store, search for the module, and tap Update. In the latter method, you need to open the Good Lock app and check for updates within the Plugins tab. Note that the latest build may not show up immediately, so you might need to wait a few days.
