Official: One UI 8 Beta 4 Arrives Next Week for Galaxy S25

Samsung is moving steadily forward with the One UI 8 development for the Galaxy S25 series. The company has now confirmed that Beta 4 is on the way, and it could be released as soon as next week. The stable release may follow in the first half of August.
Galaxy S25 series to get One UI 8 Beta 4 next week
It’s been a while since Samsung released the third One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy S25 lineup. It came in late June, with no follow-up updates so far. A Samsung community moderator in South Korea recently shared an update on the beta program’s progress. They said One UI developers are currently preparing Beta 4 with plans to release it next week. The upcoming build will address known bugs for a more stable experience.
Samsung first launched the One UI 8 beta program in late May. With each new release, the company has greatly enhanced the stability of its Android 16-based update. In fact, One UI 8 has been reliably stable since the first beta, stable enough that we’ve been using it on our main phones without issues.
With Beta 4 now nearing release, Samsung appears to be pushing hard to iron out some minor issues ahead of the final release later this year. As mentioned above, the stable update may come in the first half of August, though we do not have an official word yet. The company could share more after the fourth beta release next week.
As always, Galaxy S25 series users enrolled in the beta program can expect to receive the stable update first. Samsung is running One UI 8 beta programs in South Korea, the US, the US, Poland, Germany, and India. With development progressing smoothly, Beta 4 could play a key role in getting it ready for prime time.
