November 2025 Update Expands for Galaxy A33, M33, M13 5G

The Galaxy A33 and Galaxy M33 started receiving the November 2025 security update in Korea last week. Now, the update has expanded to India and Europe as well. Samsung has also started rolling out the November patch for the Galaxy M13 5G in India.

November 2025 security update for Galaxy A33, M33; M13 5G gets it in India

The Galaxy A33 is now getting the November 2025 update in India and Europe. Galaxy A33 users in India get the firmware version A336EDXSFGYK3. The Galaxy M33 has also started receiving the same update in these regions, carrying the build number M336BUXXSEGYK4 for users in India. Both devices have an update package of around 270 MB and are running One UI 8 based on Android 16. The rollout should reach more regions soon.

The Galaxy M13 5G is also receiving its November 2025 update in India. The LTE variant got the update last week, and now the 5G model is getting it too. The build info for the M13 5G is M136BXXSDDYK1 and has an update size of 195.83 MB. Unlike the A33 and M33, the Galaxy M13 4G and 5G will remain on Android 14, as that was the final major OS update promised by Samsung for the device.

The November 2025 update fixes 45 security vulnerabilities that were identified by Samsung, Google, and other partners. There are no major new features in this update, but it improves system security and stability.

The Galaxy A33 and M33 should also be eligible for One UI 8.5. While Samsung has not confirmed it yet, the update is based on Android 16 QPR2, so both devices will most likely get it. The stable release is expected to arrive with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026. The Galaxy A33 and M33 may get the update around the end of April 2026.

If you own any of these devices, you can update to the November 2025 security patch by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. After the download completes, tap Install now, and your phone will restart with the update installed.
