November 2025 Update also Live for Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Fold 6 & Flip 6

If it wasn’t obvious already, Samsung has now fully opened the November 2025 security update floodgates. The company has pushed the latest security patches to over a dozen devices today. The rollout is now extending to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Fold 6, and Flip 6.
Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and more devices receive Samsung’s November 2025 update
Samsung has begun rolling out its latest security update to the last two generations of foldables in South Korea. The rollout should soon expand to other markets. The update patches 45 vulnerabilities across the Galaxy family, including some high-severity issues. As mentioned, these patches have already hit dozens of other devices.
In Korea, the November 2025 update carries the firmware build number F966NKSS6AYK9 for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It’s F766NKSS6AYK9 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, F956NKSS2CYK3 for the Fold 6, and F741NKSS2CYK3 for the Flip 6. The build numbers may vary in other regions, though.
As expected, this update doesn’t contain any new features or functional enhancements. It focuses on the security side of things. These foldables are currently running One UI 8, which shipped out of the box on the Fold 7 and Flip 7. The 2024 models received the Android 16-based feature update a few weeks ago.
If you are using any of them, watch out for a notification about the latest update. If the notification hasn’t landed yet, you can check manually by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install on any Samsung foldable. Your device will search for an update and, if found, prompt you to download it. You need to restart the device to complete the installation.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Fold 6, and Flip 6 are eligible for monthly security patches, so expect another update in December. The next feature update, however, may not arrive until March or April next year, or maybe even later. Samsung will debut One UI 8.5 with the Galaxy S26 series before rolling out to older models. Stay tuned for more.
