November 2025 Google Play System Updates: What’s New?

Google has detailed its latest round of Play system updates for November 2025. As usual, it brings a host of meaningful improvements for Android devices across phones, smartwatches, and other categories of devices. Here’s the first batch of the Google Play system update for November 2025

Google continues to improve its core Android components, including the Play Store and Google Play Services, through monthly Play system updates. The goal is to make Android devices safer and more convenient to use — all without requiring a complete system upgrade.

This month’s Google Play services version 25.43 has improved Parent-managed contacts and School Time features on phones. This makes it easier for parents to monitor their children’s device usage. The update has also improved the storage section of Google Settings. If you are a developer, you will get the ability to customize the camera for image scanning.

Furthermore, the update focuses on improving the stability of system management services for Auto, PC, Phone, TV, and Wear devices. In Utilities, Android Autofill now supports CVV storage and retrieval. Meanwhile, GBoard now supports Pix for a more seamless payment experience.

Speaking of the Google Play Store version 48.7, this update brings a privacy improvement for users who have just turned 18. They will now be able to make a choice about ad personalization. Update (11/21/2025)

Play Services version 25.45 fixes some issues with account management and Google Wallet. Quick Share can now integrate with external services, while Union Pay cards can be used with payment autofill. Google Wallet lets you report transactions with the wrong merchant. Furthermore, you can now select their country when creating passes.

Meanwhile, Play Store version 48.9 brings the ability to see upcoming sports events for some apps directly on the details page. Moreover, the update lets you ask questions and share tips with the community about the game you play.

Now, coming to the Play Services version 25.44, it brings several improvements to the system. While blocking the Gemini app through Parental Controls, you will get clear information. Google Settings has received some cosmetic updates. Furthermore, emergency calls now feature an integrated live video experience. You can also back up and restore SMS retriever preferences on Android. The update improves the stability of System Management Services. If you live in Brazil, you won’t see the Cards QR feature in Google Wallet anymore.

As for Play Store version 48.8, the update brings the ability to uninstall apps from the Play Store listing on the phone. Moreover, the Subscription center now displays all active subscriptions and Play Points earned this year.

Update (11/27/2025)

Play Services version 25.46 brings a host of new developer features and improvements across devices. For developers, there are new tools to support Ads, Location & Context, and Device Connectivity processes in apps. The update introduces one-tap transfer device suggestion chips in the media object. You’ll also get the suggested devices section in the media output switcher.

Moreover, the update fixes several bugs related to Device Connections and System Management & Diagnostics services. It also brings support for the new Find Hub item location sharing feature. System management services have been updated to improve security. If you are a game developer, you can now pick a better time in gameplay to display the Google Play Games profile setup. Google Wallet now includes a link to new settings on its website.

Meanwhile, Play Store version 49.0 brings a more flexible Quests system, letting you choose which tasks to complete, including optional ones for extra rewards. Furthermore, users in the UK can now access information about the trader and their right of withdrawal through links to the Google Play Terms of Service on app, game, and book pages.
