NavStar and Keys Cafe Updates to Bring New Features for One UI 8 Devices

Samsung is gearing up to release fresh updates to its Good Lock modules: NavStar and Keys Cafe. Intended for One UI 8 devices, the new versions of these apps deliver an enhanced user experience through more customization options. The rollout should begin worldwide in the coming weeks and will gradually reach all eligible Galaxy users.

NavStar and Keys Cafe updates are coming soon for One UI 8 users

Both NavStar and Keys Cafe are fan-favorite modules within the Good Lock suite. NavStar lets you customize the navigation bar and gestures on your Galaxy devices. Likewise, Keys Cafe allows you to personalize the keyboard’s appearance. Now, with the arrival of One UI 8, both apps are set to receive new features that will further enhance the Galaxy experience.

Note that NavStar has already become compatible with One UI 8, while Keys Cafe has yet to gain support. The upcoming update for Keys Cafe will not only bring One UI 8 support but also introduce a major overhaul to the user interface. Samsung’s Good Lock moderator says that it will completely redesign the UX to work seamlessly with the latest features.

Speaking of new features, it will introduce View Keyboard Statistics, which lets you check your keyboard usage patterns. Furthermore, the Customize Keyboard Gestures feature will allow you to create personalized gesture controls with colors and effects. That means you will now have more creative control of the keyboard.

As for NavStar, the previous update brought One UI 8 support and improved the user interface, but it did not introduce any notable new features. However, the company is now preparing another update that will include the Advanced Back Gesture Decoration feature. This will allow you to personalize the back gesture arrow with an icon of your choice. Note that custom icons are already available for the back button when using button navigation. This new feature is specifically for gesture navigation.
