Make SammyGuru Your Preferred Source in Google Search

Hi, I’m Jeff Springer, the owner and Managing Editor. When I started SammyGuru, the goal was simple: share my interest in Samsung with others who felt the same. Over time, it’s grown. We still cover Galaxy news, leaks, and reviews, but now we also write about prepaid carriers, semiconductor updates, competitor moves, and features we all wish our phones had. Today, I want to let you know how you can support our pursuit of independent reporting.
We are a full-time media site with writers and editors in India, the UK, Europe, and the US. Our team brings different perspectives, making every story and review something we care about.
To make sure you never miss one of our stories, you can now set SammyGuru as a preferred source in Google Search. It only takes a few seconds, costs nothing, and helps make sure our stories are front and center when you’re looking for the latest tech news.
How to set SammyGuru as a preferred source on Google search
- Search for a current topic, like One UI 8, until you see “Top stories.”
- Click the stacked squares with a star icon.
- Search for “SammyGuru” and select it. You can add other favorites too.
- Refresh your search results to see more from us.
Your support keeps SammyGuru going. Some of you visit the site daily, others subscribe to the newsletter, listen to the podcast, or send tips. Every click, message, and listen matters. It drives us to cover the next story, the next device, the next update. I’ve also heard the feedback about our recent testing of ads on the website. After considering that feedback, I have removed all ads from SammyGuru and I pledge to keep the site ad-free for at least the remainder of 2025. Later this year we will launch a membership program, SammyGuru Rewards. I am hopeful that this program (integrating with our popular mystery program during launches) will allow us to keep the site ad-free for the long-haul.
Small actions make a big difference. They help us stay independent and push us to go deeper with our coverage. We also run two YouTube channels you can subscribe to for video coverage: SammyGuru and Jeff Springer.
Thank you for reading and being part of this community. Whether you’ve been here from the start or just joined, you’re why SammyGuru exists.
—Jeff Springer and the SammyGuru Team!
