The cat’s finally out of the bag. Samsung has officially confirmed when the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch. According to the announcement, Samsung will lift the curtain on the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 12. This news comes after weeks of speculation and leaks, which had everyone on the edge of their seats about the launch date of Samsung’s slimmest flagship yet.

Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 12
Samsung has officially pulled back the curtain on the launch date for the Galaxy S25 Edge. The flagship will be unveiled at a virtual Unpacked event on May 12. You can catch everything in action through Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com, Samsung’s official YouTube channel, and obviously, SammyGuru. The show kicks off on May 12 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT / May 13 at 12 AM GMT / 5:30 AM IST.
Although Samsung has yet to reveal full pricing or all the specifications, leaks have painted a promising picture. The Galaxy S25 Edge could feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. Under the hood, it will pack Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. As for the cameras, there will be a 200MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide on back. It could be incredibly thin, measuring just 5.84mm in thickness. It’s expected to weigh around 163g. That’s just a gram more than the compact Galaxy S25, and significantly lighter than both the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, by 17g and 55g, respectively.
